What started out as an assignment from therapy, to a somewhat memoir-prose (STILL IN THE WORKS) to NOW a podcast here is I Am Dinah!
I Am Dinah is a full length project reaching the community to find their voices through trauma. Like myself I found it harder to heal when I kept suffering in silence. When I finally decided to write again and to finish my first project (the book) I didn't think my assignment would be actually speaking on it. Find your Voice & Heal with me!
TRIGGER WARNING! TRIGGER WARNING! TRIGGER WARNING! So... This Episode we're just going to dive into talking about Rape Culture! The effects of it, how we got to this place and how it's effecting our society. Facing reality of slut shaming, victim blaming, the association and relations of the LGBTQ+ com, the misogynies and theories of sexual abuse, the sufferingand resistance to sharing and forgiveness. Hopefully we're able to get to place where we can have healthy conversations surrounding this and changing the POV of the culture!
Let's get to the ROOT Let's get VULNERABLE Let's SHARE STOP Hoarding all of the pain and suffering you've been going through and RELEASE Find GRACE in your journey to healing; and find GRACE within yourself. Give yourself some credit for doing the work! It's time to speak out and tell the truth, if you hadn't already!
If we're going to be completely honest here; besides some of us actually being okay SINGLE -we're out here dating because some of us are scared. We're afraid of being judged and singled out in away. This goes for platonic - romantic relationships as well. NO ONE is exempt. This episode we explore a little how NOT HEALING can affect our relationships and also how we lack doing the work for ourselves, for the past to pop up.
